The craving and passion of mankind for making global discoveries for its settlements has dried up or having retained some of its past forms, pursues completely different tasks (global immigration as a search for better conditions, and not the discovery and development of new lands by pioneers). Reached the limits of the old fossil fuel economy as a manifestation of a general fatal crisis. We have passed the apex of development and the level of direct conversational communication, social networks, and now we are sliding down. The minimal text that could previously convey a deep meaning with a scant number of words (Japanese poetry Haiku) collapsed in semantic content while shrinking, turning into a surrogate of tweets, sublimated messages that do not have any meaning and real emotionality. Through what we can know that the one to whom we are addressing is still alive.
Perhaps this is the absence of some general global idea, the purpose of each individually and of humanity as a whole. There is no drive and no future. There is a hype as a situational distraction, when it is proposed to explore other planets and travel to near-earth orbit, paint a picture of a new world in the conditions of new planets. But it is more important to use the forces and means of mankind to equip #Earth, #HomePlanet, next to the poorly explored ocean, environmental pollution makes threat to mankind too real. A number of leading astrophysicists talk about the absence of some kind of intelligent life where humanity can theoretically get in hundreds of years, but by that time our Home is unlikely to survive. Why don’t we listen to them? We really need real unifying ideas of projects aimed at improving conditions here, or at least preserving the existing conditions, to stop the slide down.
Look at the leading magnificent countries of Southeast Asia, the specificity of which is more than in other countries, the preservation of their culture. These countries of the first world, in which there is appropriate comfort, but they remain a real national country, where the diffusion of other cultures is invisible and their originality, the desire to preserve their Home, with which they are in a very close relationship in their culture, stimulate the initiative to actively participate in innovative technologies aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and the level of digital technologies that will certainly be integrated as a new global financial system make the Southeast Asian region potentially capable of becoming the first case for the joint application of the achievements of progressive renewable energy technologies, digital platforms for decarbonization and creating an enabling environment.
But a closer look reveals significant obstacles. This is largely due to historical results. Large-scale tragedies, crimes against humanity and their victims, indelible scars on the body of the history of each country should never be forgotten, and this should motivate not to make such mistakes in the future, the price for which is very high. You can avoid such mistakes if you have a unifying idea of saving your Home, something that worries everyone. Political contradictions and disagreements are leveled before the task of preserving the conditions of life on Earth for everyone. The future is either painful survival or by joint efforts to make conditions better than now. China, Japan, South Korea, countries with their high technological development are experiencing the negative consequences of the economy of fossil fuels, nuclear energy (the Fukushima tragedy), a shortage of electricity, together can become a real driver in the development of a new type of economy. We are confident in the correct choice of the green hydrogen technology in relation to the Southeast Asian countries that meet the optimal criteria for creating a single production space, using green hydrogen and digital technologies. A common desire in solving today’s problems for common survival makes it possible to attract such countries as Russia and North Korea as full-fledged participants in this very important process. In the first of which there are huge reserves of geothermal energy and the proximity of such resources to Japan, China, South Korea, an extensive network of pipelines, vast experience in their construction, the presence of modern LNG terminals that can be used after an upgrade for hydrogen. Nearby is Japan as a large market experiencing big problems with the electric power industry, with the existing high level of hydrogen technologies, an extensive internal gas transmission system of consumption with the ability to receive hydrogen through a pipeline. The interstate project can give Japan and Russia a new look at the territorial conflict, the principle when a more significant global task forms new priorities in interstate relations, provides new solutions for long-standing disputes. This approach fully justifies the participation of North Korea, whose leadership now poses a threat as a holder of nuclear weapons. A healthy compromise associated with increasing the importance of this country as a participant in the development of green hydrogen energy and the prospect of jumping from a gloomy country with a utopian ideology at least as a transit country into one group of countries of the avant-garde of breakthrough hydrogen technologies and a decisive task of the global future of mankind may become starting point in changing the consciousness of the leadership of this country and its population. No arguments will be able to keep this country from such a process. China, as a powerful country with the greatest economy following in the direction of a new economy, is most likely interested in using all possible resources and opportunities that neighboring countries can provide to solve a common global problem and reconsider their idea of regional dominance. The quartet of these countries can become a testing ground with further application of experience at other interstate sites. This is the case when the policy of preserving a common Home and ways of solving global problems can become a real basis for uniting different countries.
Perhaps someone will say that this is a utopia, but already now the reality is global climate change and a knot of problems associated with it.
